Love for Leopard

Photos by RSee Photography

I just love leopard print! It seems to always be in style no matter if it’s the hot trend at the moment (like it is right now) or something in the back of your closet from seasons past. Leopard print seems to go with everything. I often wear it as a neutral to balance out with other prints like in the outfit pictured below.

I really love how it goes with the suit. It’s not too overpowering so I’m still able to keep it professional. Pairing a print like leopard with a suit helps to keep things young as well. Nowadays younger women, especially millennial’s, don’t care to wear a suit to work if they aren’t required to. But suits are a great staple to have in your closet. Pairing it with a fun print like leopard keeps things far from mundane or traditional. In the suit pictured it balances out the traditional navy blue which is often seen as a very conservative suit color. I don’t know if I’d recommend leopard shoes for an interview but for every day workwear or a meeting they could work. As long as you’re mindful of your workplace dress code and the culture.

I don’t think leopard print will ever go out of style. Want proof? I actually purchased these shoes last year! It was on a day when I was wearing a very basic cream top and black pants. I quickly ran into Macy’s to look for some shoes to jazz up the outfit a bit for a work event. I found these leopard heels and they were perfect! Now fast forward and leopard is a hot trend this season! Since I already had the shoes in my closet they’ve been a great update to pair with anything from the most basic work outfit to a weekend ensemble.

What about you friends? Are you a fan of leopard print? Would you wear it to your workplace?
